Hello students & friends,
What a epic week one.
Here's a quick recap of some things that we did we talked about getting to know your equipment, we talked about the anatomy of your shoe. We talked about how the shoe should fit we did a history about high heels in general, and we talked about where the platform stiletto came into the dancing scene.
Then we went through a full body warm up, focusing on the waist down we tried to target the glutes hamstrings, hamstrings, EyeDoctors, abductors calves, shins, ankles, feet, etc. we started to work on strengthening the ankle calf, and Xin's as well as working on our planter and Dorsey flexion. We talked about the very important technique of pointing to the shoe. We reviewed the anatomy of the shoe and try to focus on the tip of the shoe and proper ankle alignment and engagement through some basic pastures on the floor.
