WEEK FOUR: SHOULDER STANDS , SPLITS, AND LATERAL ROLLS
Let's face it a great workshop series has a little bit of everything. Conditioning, Movement theory, extensive technique…..
but it would not be complete without some trendy new moves or in this case some of my signature favorites.
This Final week we will look at……
My signature SHOULDER STAND SPLIT - THE LEVER SPLIT (formally known as the twat split) and THE LATERAL SHOULDER ROLL
These moves are intermediate too advanced and have a huge impact in any flow, especially when sprinkled into everything else you have learned through out this workshop series.
Trust me when I say the skills are challenging and you might not get them in the actual class itself. It might take time to build the strength and flexibility needed to execute these moves with efficiency. However fear not ……I’ll be sure to give you all of the exercises needed so that you can train overtime and have a realistic goals.
Before we dive then let's review all that we have done throughout this incredible workshop series.
WK ONE : The Basics -
We looked at forward and backward shoulder rolls with the base of the pole, as well as an introductory way to get down to the floor and to get up off the floor . This was our baseline for everything we were going to be learning in the future.
WK TWO: Standing to Floor Transitions -
We looked at intricate, unusual and interesting ways to get down to the floor incorporating Liquid Motion level one level two and Liquid Motion Pole. In addition we ended with my signature standing split.
This class was packed with content, and was meant to be broken down and replayed many times.
WK THREE: Now the fun begins, Let’s get down and dirty… explore what we know?-
We Slowed it down again and started to look at how to really take your time and understand your movement finding the nuances to get the perfect angles the perfect twat shot they can't adjustments to head adjustments the beautiful lines and extension. I gave you specific commands and action items to help you explore your movement during and of course after the workshop series is over.
And here we are at the final week.
I can't tell you what a joy it has been to create this workshop series for you.
The time and hours that I put in will hopefully payoff for you and your movement journey.
I tried to make each class packed full of important information for a multi level student.
In addition I wanted these classes to have value after the series was over. You paid a lot of money to be here and I wanted to make sure that these classes and their content lasted you for many many many months to come.
I hope you were able to dive deep into the Content and understand that these ideas theories and techniques will carry true through your entire movement journey, not just today, not just tomorrow not just next year,
but forever…..
Sincerely ,
Jeni Janover
