"Liquid Motion" Secrets to Understanding Basework
•
1h 46m
This week we are going to look at STANDING POLE WORK AND THE TRANSLATION OF THAT WORK TO THE BASE ALONG WITH GENERAL BASE WORK TRANSITIONS.
We will also revisit some of the ideas from Week one.
Functionality ideas : really understanding how to move the pivot & contact point quickly up the body to create smoother transitions and level changes. We are going to be really focusing on bringing the pivot points back into the base of the pole. And thinking of the pivot points touching one another to create the exchange.
Aesthetically idea: we are going to be looking again at the BASIC ARCH POSTURE OBLIQUES as well as THE HANDS different parts of the hands AND an idea from Liquid Motion POLE that we call riding the pivot.
